How we work
Design it, install it, document it.
Layer-1 Technologies, LLC is a Texas low-voltage design-build company. We work in commercial buildings. The job starts with the plan and ends when the documentation matches the building.
The standard on the job
Cabling is installed to BICSI workmanship and tested to ANSI/TIA-568. Equipment we leave behind is configured the way the manufacturer says to harden it, and default passwords do not survive the handoff. When a contract requires a stricter equipment rule, the bill of materials follows that rule.
Camera systems and doors
Camera systems and electronic access control are licensed under Texas Private Security License B30996401. Cabling, networks, Wi-Fi, rooms, and telecom-room work sit alongside that.
